Stained Glass Maze 10/21/2006 took a chance – am i glad i did!! “i had seen window film at my local home depot and lowes but the selection was very limited  i decided to look online and see in there were other patterns available   i hit the jackpot when i found your site   not only did your site have so much to choose from, but even with shipping costs the price was lower than buying it at the local stores  this was my first experience at applying window film but your instructions made it seem very simple so i decided to order   my order arrived within 5 days and after reading the installation instructions again, i began my project   not only was the installation easy with very little mess, the final result is fantastic   i will be ordering soon to cover another set of windows with an “”undesirable”” view  not only did the film go on easy it also allows light to filter into the room while softening an unwanted view i was hesitant to order a darker film as i did not realize how the light would filter through and soften the look of the design   my next project will include darker colors just so i can see the sunlight filter through and enjoy the effect   thank you again” A viewer  Lakewood, CA

Brushed Faux Stainless Steel Film 5/17/2007 Good enough to fool anyone! “This stainless steel film was easy to cut and install. So far I’ve only had time to do the dishwasher which is a simple, flat surface, but I did bend it around the sides. I used some blue painter’s tape to hold the edges down for 2 days then removed the tape and it is flawless now. It has everyone fooled. I’m so glad I found this product- I can’t believe we were going to buy new appliances just to get the stainless look when this kit will do our stove, vent hood, and dishwasher for $60! Help with adhesive window film – getting corner to stick

Problem:

Stella in Washington wrote us to ask about a window film problem. She installed one of our adhesive backed window films and was very happy with the results. Stella’s young grandson came for a visit and decided that he wanted to see how the film was stuck to the window. He had one corner peeled back before Stella caught him. Now she is having trouble with this corner sticking to the window again.

Solution:

Clear silicone, which you can buy at a hardware store, or clear nail polish can be used for small areas where you may have a problem with adhesion.
